Ningbo CRRC Times Transducer Technology Co., Ltd. (CRRC Ningbo Times) was founded in 1990. Its predecessor was Ningbo Branch of CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute,one of the subordinate research institutes introduced to Ningbo at the early age. It was renamed Ningbo CSR Times Transducer Technique Co., Ltd. in June 2006 .it was renamed Ningbo CRRC Transducer Technology Co.,Ltd in March 2016 and currently it is affiliated with Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co., Ltd. ( an H-share listed company). 
Relying on the technical advantages and powerful strength of the headquarter,CRRC Ningbo Times has inherited and promoted the " CRRC " enterprise culture. After more than twenty years' development,the company has formed three industry sectors: the transducer industry, with products such as current, voltage, pressure, speed, displacement, and temperature transducers, etc.; the rail transit door industry, the products of which are mainly full height PSD, half height PSD, vehicle door etc.; the environment protection industry, with products Such as vacuum waste collection equipments, integral toilets on locomotives, waste (water ) post-treatment equipments, sensing sanitary ware , etc..
With the rapid development of the rail transport industry, the company has become a professional supplier of transducers in the domestic rail transport industry, and has taken part in setting a number of industry standards for transducers. Some of its products are exported to Hong Kong, Europe, North America, Middle East, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions. The product applications are gradually expanded to the industrial and civilian control fields. At present the company has become an important base of industrialization and export for CRRC in the Yangtze River Delta economic region.
